Revision as of 12:52, 27 April 2007
The Spring Festival in Graz (Styria, AUT) celebrates its seventh birthday with a shitload of international DJs and (as usual) cheap ticket prices (especially for you rich english blokes :P ).
Date: Wed. 16-05-2007 to Sun. 20-05-2007
How to go there
As long as youre a forein spastic genre lover, the easiest way should be: - to go to Vienna by plane and to take the train from Vienna to Graz (direct connection every 2 hours; travelling time around 2:30). Or - to take a direct flight to Graz Airport. Unfortunately the airport is quite small so im not sure what airlines could offer you a direct flight.
What the f*#k is Graz???
Graz is the second biggest town in Austria. Its located somewhere in the south-east and it has to offer sth like 250.000 to 300.000 inhabitants (about 50.000 of them are students), a nice town center, 2 breweries (Gösser & Puntigamer), the Schlossberg (i.e. the "mountain" in the middle of the city. lol), the Stadtpark (city park. greeeeeeat for chillout sessions or just lying around drinking and watching fit gals) with its Parkhouse (best "bar" ever), ...
The Festival
The festival takes place in some locations directly in the center of Graz (locations). Due to the town's "enormous" size, you can always change location by foot if you want to (it usually takes you sth like 5-10 minutes. Just "Postgarage" is different because its not exactly in the center of the town).
