Nottingham is located in the east midlands in the UK, and is the home to two universities and about 20,000 students. This leads to lots of Cheese clubs, with uni nights being spread around Ocean, Isis and Oceana on monday, wednesday and friday. Stealth is the only full time proper club, and is home to a glittering multitude of nights.

Stealth is the latest (and only!) addition to Nottinghams clubbing scene.

It's a 700 capacity (more when the Rescue Rooms is included) venue that houses one of the few Funktion One Sound Systems in the UK.

Marcus Garvey Ballroom

Located in the heart of nottingham's student area lenton, with and estimated student population of 30,000. The ballroom is in close proximity to the student halls of residence and university campus. The ballroom is a multi-functional venue, boasting an eclectic range of live music clubnights, shows and events. The ballroom is much a part of nottingham as robin hood, and it has built a much respected reputation for live music, shows and club nights. Everybody i know loves it there, and the bouncers aren't averse to selling 'whatever you want' to ya just outside the toilets

Firefly

The best atmosphere clubnight in nottingham, this has ditched Stealth as a venue at the end of 2005, and now has a monthly residency in the Marcus Garvey Centre. Has a reputation for featuring new acts for the first time in nottingham.

With a music policy based around Techno, house and Breaks, a no attitude door policy and an anything goes rave vibe, this is the party you love, even if you don't know it yet!!!

Having recently celebrated our 6th birthday, a bit of info for you! We were the first club night in the country to play from Breaks to Techno in the same room, we've played host to a huge list of DJs and live acts and we've got the mother of all lineups sorted for the beginning of our monthly Ballroom Bash.

Starting life at the Nottingham Summer Party in 2000, the first 3 years saw regular slots at the Marcus Garvey Ballroom. With massive amounts of effort put into the décor of the venue, and a lot of thought going into the lineup, Firefly quickly built up a reputation in the midlands for hosting a party like no other.

Between then and now, Firefly hosted its legendary residency at the infamous, but now sadly defunct club, The Bomb, as well as appearing at many great events including Nottingham Summer Party every year. Since The Bomb closed, a slot opened at Nottingham's newest nightclub, Stealth and we resided there for a year up until now…

From here on in, we’re going back to our spiritual home, The Marcus Garvey Ballroom website, for a new monthly bash and we’d like you to come and play! With line-ups that’ll keep you boogying till tomorrow, a world class sound system, new lighting and even a bean-bag bestowed marquee for a chill-out space, come find your new home.

Bottom Line / Small Print: expect 10 feet robots, fire eaters, party people and of course music to make your knees wobble!!
