User pages allow TMB members to build a personal pages on the wiki to express themselves however they wish (with some caveats, see Guidelines). It is the aim that TMB members will share information that does not have a specific place on either the TMB forums or in the other areas of the wiki.

Building your page

Every registered member of TMB and TMB Wiki automatically is provided with a page of their own. The naming format for user pages is User:YourUsername . The easiest way to access your page is by clicking on your username at the top-centre of this page.

Writing wiki pages is very easy. A good guide to get you started is available at the Mediawiki Handbook. Support is also available through the TMB forums. Viewing the source of other pages on the wiki is also usefull for learing how to format pages.

All user pages should use the following code at the top of the page.

This will add a box containing details about yourself in a formatted manner (see an existing user page for an example). All of the fields are optional so you can provide as much or as little detail as you wish. If you don't want this box displayed you will have to manually add (unedited) [[Category:User Pages|{{PAGENAME}}]] to the bottom of your user page to include it in the list of pages below.

Please read the guidelines below before embarking on creating your page.

Guidelines

1. The TMB Wiki can be accessed (but not modified) by anyone on the internet, TMB member on not. The TMB Wiki is also indexed by search engines. Please do not post content that you don't want the entire world to see (prospective employers, your mum etc).
2. As the TMB Wiki is publicly accessable please try to keep content SFW (safe for work). Blatant porn shouldn't be uploaded to the wiki, neither should copyright material (within reason).
3. You will quickly realise that you can modify other users pages. Doing this is very bad wiki etiquette. Modifications to pages can easily be rolled back to previous versions and perpetrators of wiki vandalism will be dealt with swiftly.
4. Please do not modify templates without seriously considering the effects. All user pages require the templates, fucking them up will fuck up everyones pages. Modifications and improvements are welcome, please seek guidance on the forum before making changes though.
